Academy of Science

I was informed that Academy of Science was free on Wednesday. Mindy & I had to be there early due to the fact that it was going to be packed, again free. Who doesn't love free shit? Any who, we got there at 7:30 a.m. and there was already a big line. Met up with Ed, Ron & then Eric. Eric had brought his 80-200mm f/2.8lens that I wanted to try. Lens is amazing & superior, all though it has no VR, and it's quite heavy, this lens is amazing regardless. Once we got in, we headed towards the exploratorium or whatever this big white dome was. People were rushing all over it. Ron told us it was about plants so didn't bother to even go. We all just decided to keep the cards they gave us and plan to use it next time we come here since they recycle there cards.

I finally got to go inside the jungle & humid dome full of butterflies and insects. IT was pretty cool, but at the same time was all bad. Ron, Eric, & I had problems with our lens, it kept fogging up. Luckily I brought my cleaning cloths just in case. Ed had no problem at all, I don't know if it was his 50mm f/1.4 or not. Afterwards, we ended taking much pictures as possible and most of us decided to leave. Eric decided to stay since his family was still around.

Headed out to West Lake to go eat Pho since we were all hungry. Checked out a few places and had to do my meet up, that was the other purpose of coming down to West Lake. Since Ed was real nice, we went to his house to chill and play some live and ball. Thanks Ed for letting me borrow the game again. Jed wanted to buy a 50mm f/1.8 since he's been wanting one for a while. I took Ron & Jed to Berkeley's Looking Glass Photo. Jed and Ron were happy. Ron picked up a UV filter for his 50mm and Jed picked up a 50mm f/1.8.

After that was done, we headed to my place to chill, relax and to sleep finally. After chilling, went to drop Ron off around 11 ish p.m at Bart since he decided to head home and not crash over. I changed a few things around here that I have been meaning to change.
